Heath Symons is one of the Directors of Symcorp Building Services. Heath first started his career as an apprentice plumber then worked his way up within the company to become supervisor managing over 30 staff. Heath then decided to change his direction and took up carpentry and he has completed a certificate 4 in building and construction. Over the years Heath has developed his building skills and enjoys going to work and completing projects with a high standard.
Chris Symons, director of Symcorp Building Services, has been in the building industry for over ten years, excelling in general maintenance, customer service and project management. In previous roles Chris has managed many large Government and council projects, recently completing a Diploma of Project Management and Business Management. Emphasis is placed on customer service ensuring all clients are informed on progress within the scope of works and work place health and safety is one of his main priorities.
Michael is our senior maintenance technician. He has over 35 years in the industry, from owning his business to managing a team underneath him with a can do attitude. Michael is the man of all trades where you will see him completing all our maintenance works.
Accounts / Administration
Sarah manages all the administration and account aspects of Symcorp. In previous roles, Sarah has managed large offices completing a Diploma of Business Management and also a Diploma of Marketing. She enjoys working within the team keeping everything running smoothly while providing great customer services to all clients.
Daniel is our leading hand with a wealth of knowledge within the building industry starting when he was only 15 years old. Over the last 15 years Dan has worked on major project such as schools and high rises. He knows his trade and with a keen eye for details with great customer service.
Dwight Johnson joined the team in 2015 and has since been a strong asset to the ever since. Over the last ten years of being a carpenter, Dwight worked two years in London building large homes while travelling. He enjoys all aspects of the building industry seeing the job start to finish. Dwight is highly skilled, has a great attitude and ensures the job is completed to a high standard while being on time.

Michael Suzor has recently joined our team as our Estimator / Sales Representative coming from one of the largest builders in Australia. Having recently completed Cert IV in Building and Construction and also a Bachelor of Communications, Michael brings skills to fulfill his role in both fields of estimating and sales. He is extremely keen to learn all aspects of estimating within the building industry. Other skills and interests of Michael’s are photography, media and spending time with his family. We look forward to seeing Michael grow within the company.
Jessi has over 13 years of experience from residential to commercial building works. Over the years Jessi has worked on and also supervised both small and large projects throughout the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and also remote and mining communities. Jessi thoroughly enjoys carpentry, watching projects from start to finishes and working on different places within a productive, fun team.
School Based Apprentice Carpenter
Cassidy has recently joined our team in 2016 as our School Based Apprentice, completing her year 12 certificate in 2017 at Australian Industry Trade College. Having come from a family of tradesman, Cassidy has taken on the same career and enjoys all aspects of carpentry. She brings enthusiastic and keen to do all types of jobs and works well within the team.
Tom has been working for Symcorp for quite a while now, he is fully qualified and exceptionally experience. His history in the construction industry involves from working on high-rises to house renovations. He takes pride in all the work he is involved with.
Only recently Warren has joined Symcorp. Within his 42 years of experience, he brings skills and knowledge to the company.
Nick has recently started working at Symcorp , whilst he hasn’t been here too long he brings is skills and passion to the Symcorp team. Nick is always happy and outgoing.
Tyler has recently joined the Symcorp team after moving to the Coast, he has worked in the industry from 15 years of age, specialising in residential building, both in renovations and new builds. He enjoys his trade, with great attention to detail and pride in his work, Tyler loves watching his projects grow from start to finish.
Receptionist / Administration
Michelle is the first point of contact for Symcorp Building Services. She is not only our receptionist but also assists with all aspects of the administration side. You will be greeted by Michelle with her friendly voice who will be able to assist you all answer any of your questions.
