The client recently moved to the Gold Coast from interstate to enjoy the Gold Coast lifestyle but was having problems finding the right home to suit their large family. They decided they would extend their existing property and make it their dream home.

Our scope was to renovate the whole house, adding a new entertainment area around the pool, and removing all the asbestos including the roof while the client still lived in the garage.

The engineering for this project was very secure, making sure it was cyclone proof, we installed screw piers into the ground as per the homeowner's request.

Some renovations are easy but this Southport home extension was one of the most challenging extensions we have undertaken on the Gold Coast to date, as the site had major issues with access for machinery and materials. We had to budget for a crane to bring everything over the neighbour's house.

We had to remove the client from the house for a couple of days so we could safely remove the asbestos from the walls, bathrooms, and roof while watching the weather and tarping the whole ceiling every night.

Home Renovators Warehouse at Burleigh Heads supplied all the flooring, bathroom, and kitchen fittings giving the bathrooms and kitchens an amazing finish. The amazing showroom consultants designed the bathrooms and kitchens as a part of their great service, they also provided specifications on every product which made our installation go a lot smoother.

The extension had a timeframe of 16 weeks to complete but we were lucky enough to hand over this beautiful home transformation 4 weeks early with one very happy client who has recommended Symcorp Building Services to her friends for future works.
